Khurram Ali Shafique received Presidential Iqbal Award for his book, Iqbal: an Illustrated Biography. He is the author of some forty published books and more than two hundred articles (mostly for leading newspapers in Pakistan including Dawn and Express Tribune), and has contributed papers to research journals. His writings cover mostly media studies, women studies, history and Iqbal Studies.
